This mass called brain

I came upon this quote “Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking” - Eninstein.

Strange but true, some times the line between gathering information and gaining knowledge gets so blurred, that you dont realise when you start accumalating data, and enter the 'psuedo' intellectual state. How much of it actually gets ingrained, defines you and your persona is to be seen.I personally feel that more than how much you know, how well you know is important. In this age of information overload, there is a vast ocean to be explored, and we tend to get lost. A Sherlock Holmes instance comes to my mind. Sherlock Holmes was asked, "It is suprising that you have such in-depth knowledge in your field of interest, and just completely unaware of things beyond? ". He replied "I want to use the space in my mind, to store the minutest details of what I need, of what use is unnecessary data other than wasteful mind space".

At the onset, it confused me, as there were several things i wanted to know about, and then there were things i was expected to know about ( and this seems to be a never ending list!!). So what do i save and what not to!! ( i wish my brain had an auto save feature like my blog draft! )
Its time, we realise the limitations of human memory capacity, and store and process what is required.
